MENA Newswire: 2023 marks the inception of Ariston Group’s ambitious journey to fulfilling its 2030 vision while 2022 set the stage for the first part of Ariston Group’s journey towards sustainability. The Group embraced nine of the 17 sustainable development goals set by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2015 and independently set three overarching goals linked to sustainability to achieve by 2022: 80% of revenue from efficient and renewable solutions, saving 3 million tons of CO2 through the company’s evolved technologies and bringing comfort in extreme conditions. Year-end 2021 already saw 74% of revenues generated from sustainable solutions while savings in CO2 had crossed 2 million tons.

Ariston Group begins its journey towards its 2030 vision in 2023Alberto Torner, Head of Ariston Group in the Middle East, Turkey, and Caucasus stated, “The Ariston Group’s mission is to provide high quality heating and hot water solutions to people around the world, while safeguarding the environment. We at Ariston Middle East support that ethos and contribute to it whenever we can. Our work around the region exemplifies our commitment towards innovation and sustainability, projects that showcase our heat pumps technology, solar energy solutions and electric water heaters. These projects leverage the latest technologies refined through years of research and development efforts to achieve impressive results.”

One such innovative technology is the ES Extra system – an electrical water heater – its flexibility in configuration, quick recovery time, and double thermostat help to reduce energy consumption and improve the efficiency of hot water systems in commercial and residential establishments. The ES Extra system has been embraced by the hospitality industry for its efficient management of hot water in buildings. The system’s efficacy is demonstrated at the Marriott Courtyard King Salman Park Hotel. The implementation of ES Extra water system will fulfill the hotel’s requirement of 35,000 liters a month and will still generate a saving of 40% in energy consumption.

Other projects in Saudi Arabia are spread across the country. The King Fahad Hospital in Jeddah, being transformed into a 530-bed facility, is one of the prestigious projects being supplied with hot water by Ariston Middle East. Another interesting project that will implement Ariston technology is the Red Sea Ummahat Al Shaykh Islands, the new holiday destination destined for international tourism and carbon sensitive travel. Each project is customized by leveraging Ariston’s innovative energy saving technology to meet the customer’s requirements.

Ariston’s innovative technology to minimise energy and contribution to raising the bar on sustainable living is aligned to the vision of the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman BiAbdulaziz. InIn line with his commitment to a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive future, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has placed sustainability at the heart of Vision 2030 since its inception.

“We will continue to build on the success we have achieved in the Middle East and specially in the GCC. We are pleased to see the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards sustainability and are proud to be corporate citizens that are leading in these efforts.” Torner added.
